Nobody Wants This Season 3: Writers Are Already Working, No Official Renewal
Now fans have a reason to celebrate the Netflix romantic comedy series ‘Nobody Wants This’. Kristen Bell, who stars as an agnostic podcaster Joanne, has confirmed that Season 3 is already being written. In a special interview with Parade, the actress indicated that ‘the writer’s room is working right now’, although Netflix has not yet officially greenlit another season.

What’s the renewal status?
The second season of the Netflix show was recently released on October 23, 2025, and immediately got to the top of the streaming service. But the official renewal of Season 3 is yet to be announced. According to industry sources, Netflix usually makes renewal announcements within two weeks of a season launch, so the official news might reach fans by mid-November 2025.
Romantic comedy with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody has earned positive reviews, but the second season has an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, compared to Season 1, which had an impressive 95%. Although there was a minor dip, the television show is still a favorite among viewers.
When Could Season 3 Release?
Assuming Netflix renews the show, Nobody Wants This Season 3 will be released in fall 2026. Seasons 1 and 2 of the series were released a year later, in September 2024 and October 2025 respectively.
Adam Brody told Parade he would like to see his characters Noah and Joanne get engaged or move in together in the near future. The Netflix hit series has been based on the unlikely relationship between a rabbi and an agnostic podcaster, and the series designs compelling plots that appeal to the millennial audience.
