She is one of popular face of South Indian films. She worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam as well as in Hindi movies. Andrea Jeremiah is professional playback singer and trained dancer.
She started her career as Playback singer later entered into film. Andrea was born on 21 December 1985 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to Anglo Indian Roman Catholic family, her father a lawyer in High court in Chennai and mother home maker. She has younger sister who works as research assistance at Belgium. She has completed her primary education and graduated from Women’s Christian College in Chennai.
Andrea Jeremiah began her filmy career as a theatre artist from Girish Karnad’s Nagamandala and performed across India. Later she sung song in movie Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and she had offered a lead female role by Gautham Menon next movie Pachaikili Muthucharam where she was playing a role of Kalyani, a home maker and nominated for best debut actress for the film.
In 2010 she worked in the Tamil film Aayirathil Oruvan as Lavanya Chandramouli character again nominated for best supporting actress category. This is how her filmy career started and now she is quite busy for upcoming movies. Jeremiah featured in the Hindi film Vishwaroop in 2013.
