Wicked Part 2, officially titled Wicked: For Good, will arrive in theaters on November 21, 2025, to have the magical adventures of Elphaba and Glinda come to an epic end.
Wicked Part 2 Release Date Confirmed: All You Need To Know About ‘For Good’
The second installment of the big blockbuster musical movie will hit theaters soon. Wicked Part 2, the second installment that is also known as Wicked: For Good, will be released in theatres on November 21, 2025. The news has put fans into a craze, following the first installment raking in a whopping $756 million dollars worldwide and receiving 10 Academy Award nominations.

Director Jon M. Chu has confirmed that the two movies were filmed at the same time and the editing was done concurrently to maintain smooth storytelling. This strategy will be a memorable movie experience for viewers as they witness the complex relationship between Elphaba and Glinda continue.
Cast and Characters Return
Cynthia Erivo also reappears as Elphaba, the misunderstood witch who fully takes charge of her destiny in this dark sequel. Ariana Grande, who was nominated in the Oscar category for her performance as Glinda, will reappear in the role alongside Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero Tigelaar. Other supporting cast such as Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, and Marissa Bode will also be back in their roles.
Early Screenings and Special Events
Universal Pictures intends to hold special screenings on November 17, 2025, starting and finishing exclusively for Amazon Prime subscribers. General public previews will begin on November 20, and some theatres will provide a special double feature of both Wicked films. The sequel has already topped pre-sale records, selling more than 2500 first-day tickets on Fandango, becoming the best-selling first-day ticket of 2025.
The movie will be available in various premium formats such as IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and ScreenX. Wicked The First Movie is also available to watch on NBC on November 19, 2025, a few days before the sequel.
