Career Breakthrough
In 2010, Teller debuted with the film Rabbit Hole. That breakthrough came in 2013 with The Spectacular Now and in 2014 with critical acclaim for Whiplash. He became a leading star in Top Gun: Maverick (2022) as Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, a role that made him famous.
Some of his movies include the Divergent series, Fantastic Four as Mister Fantastic, and the biographical film War Dogs. The actor also appears in TV shows such as Too Old to Die Young on Amazon Prime and The Offer on Paramount +.
Surviving a near-fatal accident
Teller is a survivor of a terrible car accident that happened in 2007 when Teller was 20. The car flipped eight times at speeds of 80 mph. Through it, he was taken out the window and found unconscious, bleeding and unconscious 50 feet from the wreckage.
That accident caused permanent scars on my face. Teller revealed, “I still have two rocks on my face”. He underwent years of laser treatments to minimize scarring.
