Season 6 of Slow Horses is officially green-lit
Critically acclaimed spy drama Slow Horses has been officially renewed on Apple TV+ to get a sixth season. It was announced in October 2024, soon after the finale of Season 4 was released on the platform. When Will Season 6 Release?
Season 6 has already completed its production, which is good news. The new season will be released in 2026, according to the filming schedule. This 6-episode season is part of the tradition of Apple TV+ to have a short turnaround between seasons, which is not usually more than a year.
Gary Oldman and the Cast Return
Academy Award winner Gary Oldman will recreate his Emmy and BAFTA nomination role as the popular Jackson Lamb. The leading characters will likely come back, which will include Jack Lowden as River Cartwright, Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, and other Slough House favorite actors. Hugo Weaving has also confirmed that he will be back as Frank Harkniss.

Gary Oldman disclosed that Season 7 began shooting at the end of October 2025. The creator of the show, Will Smith, left the show after the 5th season, and they were replaced by a new creative team.
