The gripping oil industry drama by Taylor Sheridan is back. Season 2 of Landman will be released on November 16, 2025, on Paramount+. Fans will not have to wait much longer. The series comes back only a few months after the end of Season 1 in January 2025.

Star-Studded Cast Revives With New Actors
Billy Bob Thornton appears as Tommy Norris, the tough crisis manager who negotiates the oil fields of West Texas. Demi Moore and Andy Garcia are also returning with big roles this season. The biggest surprise is that legendary actor Sam Elliott plays the role of a father to Tommy. This is a re-union between Elliott and Sheridan following their collaboration work in 1883.
Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, and other favourite actors will play their parts once again. Newcomers are Stefania Spampinato, Guy Burnet and Miriam Silverman. Jon Hamm will not be back, because his character Monty Miller died in Season 1.
What To Expect From Season 2
The next season is going to be very dramatic. When Monty dies, Tommy is threatened by M-Tex Oil in court and struggles with family pressure. The show is about power politics, corruption, and survival in the volatile oil industry of America. Taylor Sheridan, the genius behind Yellowstone, still continues to deliver his signature Western grit.
Huge Success will lead to Renewal
The first season was the most successful launch in two years for Paramount+, reaching 35 million viewers across the globe. In March 2025, the streaming service immediately green signals Season 2. Jio Hotstar will be available to Indian audiences starting November 21, 2025.
