Miles Teller has finally spoken out against the infamous Fantastic Four disaster of 2015, naming one unknown person that supposedly destroyed what would have been a fantastic superhero film.
Miles Teller Gives Reason for the Failure of Fantastic Four
Finally, Hollywood star Miles Teller has broken his silence about what went wrong with the Fantastic Four film of 2015. Top Gun: Maverick actor has just come out with some shocking information in an interview with Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM podcast.

Teller who stars as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) in the movie, did not hold back. He told him that he just knew something had gone wrong after seeing the final cut. The 38-year-old actor recalled that when he first watched the movie, he approached one of the studio heads and told him, ‘I think we’re in trouble’.
The mystery person behind the disaster
Although Teller complimented the spectacular casting and his fellow co-stars, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell, he referred to a specific person. Perhaps it was one person who was very crucial and sort of f***ed everything up, Teller said bluntly.
He did not specifically name anyone but according to industry insiders his reference is to director Josh Trank. The director famously disassociated himself from the project, tweeting in a now-deleted tweet that he had a “fantastic version”, which would never be shown to the audience.
Box Office Bomb and Critical Failure
Fantastic Four (2015) was a huge failure, with a box-office collection of only $168 million worldwide. The movie received bad reviews because it had a poor storyline and lasted only for 90 minutes. The failure terminated franchise plans instantly.
Teller confessed that he was under pressure to enter the superhero genre. As a young actor during that time, it’s like ‘if you want to be taken seriously as a leading man, you got to get on this superhero train,’ he described.
Despite the failure Teller career bounced back with great success with such hits as Top Gun: Maverick.
