Netflix has recently introduced a mystery thriller ‘The Beast in Me’, a dark psychological drama that stars a cast featuring Emmy award-winning actors Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys and premieres on November 13, 2025.

The Beast in Me is a new series from Netflix that has a star-studded cast that is making headlines in the streaming industry. Lead Casts in the Series
Claire Danes plays the role of a struggling author called Aggie Wiggs who is trying to cope with the loss of her young boy who died in a tragic accident. Emmy-winning actress, who has exemplary performances in Homeland, adds depth to this grieving character. Matthew Rhys stars as Nile Jarvis, a powerful real estate tycoon who turns out to be the key suspect when his wife mysteriously disappears. His character enters the home adjacent to Aggie and initiates a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Brittany Snow plays the role of Nina Jarvis, the missing wife of Nile and Natalie Morales acts as Shelley, the ex-wife of Aggie. Its supporting cast includes television veterans Jonathan Banks as Martin Jarvis, Deirdre O’Connell as Carol McGiddish, and David Lyons as FBI agent Brian Abbott.
Production Team & Release
Gabe Rotter has created the miniseries and the executive produced by industry veteran actors Jodie Foster and Conan O’Brien. The series was directed by Antonio Campos and was shot in Red Bank, New Jersey. On November 13, 2025, all eight episodes were released on Netflix and got positive reviews with an 83 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
