The 26th Latin Grammy Awards honored the best of Latin music at the center of the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on November 13, 2025. The glittering ceremony celebrated great artistry in all forms of Latin music, with Bad Bunny coming out as the winner of the night.
Record-breaking nominations
Bad Bunny led the nominations with an impressive 12 nominations including the coveted Album of the Year nomination due to his revolutionary album “Debi Tirar Más Fotos.” The Puerto Rican superstar also got a nomination for both Record of the Year and a song of the year award on two of his album songs, “Baile Inolvidable” and “DtMFs”. His music is an excellent blend of traditional Puerto Rican music such as plena and modern urbano, reggaeton, and trap music.

Producer Edgar Barrera followed closely behind Bad Bunny with 10 nominations, proving his major contribution to shaping contemporary Latin pop music. The Argentine group CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso also received 10 nominations due to their vibrant album “Papota” which incorporates hip-hop, Latin pop and high-energy funk.
A Star-Studded Ceremony
Colombian celebrity Maluma hosting his debut with veteran host Roselyn Sánchez, making her eighth appearance to host the awards. The ceremony was accompanied by the amazing performances of nominees such as Rauw Alejandro, Christian Nodal, Nathy Peluso, and Alejandro Sanz.
Mexican songwriter-singer Natalia Lafourcade got eight nominations and Brazilian artist Liniker got six nominations, which points to the variety of talent of Latin American music performers. The 2025 edition introduced a new visual media category, extending the scope of recognition among creative forms.
