On November 2, 2025, the popular survival thriller Tracker by the CBS network returns as a Halloween special, with an impressive cast that will include Justin Hartley. The third episode, entitled ‘First Fire’, premiered at 8.30 PM ET/PT and featured some very interesting new characters to the popular action drama.

Justin Hartley returns to play Colter Shaw, the skilled survivalist and tracker who goes after dangerous criminals to earn reward money. The episode introduces the character Derek Richardson as Detective Dundee, a local police officer who turns out to be Colter’s key partner in the resolution of the gruesome Halloween mystery.
Fiona Rene comes back as Reenie Greene, the lawyer who helps Shaw with legalities. Chris Lee reappears as Randy, the tech expert who took over the role of Bobby Exley in the last season.

‘First Fire’ is a horror film with a spine-chilling plot that involves the ruthless murder of a nurse on Halloween night at a psychiatric hospital. Arsonist Heston Koontz disappears into the mess, and Colter has to observe the dangerous criminal before more people are killed.
The episode, directed by Aprill Winney and written by Ryan O’Nan and Annakate Chappell, is a blend of supernatural-style suspense and Tracker, who has his signature action sequences.
