What happened to Season 27?
Comedy Central confirmed that Season 27 ended too early with just five episodes. There was no official explanation for this sudden change. However, fans need not worry. The episode count will be the same, but there will be ten additional episodes in 2025.
The fifth episode is going to be incorporated into season 28, as well, which will keep the split format. The other episodes will be October 29, November 12, November 26, and December 10.
Season 28 Premiere Addresses Viral Tik Tok Trend
The season premiere is about South Park Elementary students taking part in the TikTok viral “6-7”. This meaningless phrase from Generation Alpha will become the main highlight of the storyline. There is also an episode where tech billionaire Peter Thiel is on the search for the Antichrist.
Cartman becomes possessed and may have the key to preventing the apocalypse. The show is still roasting political leaders and contemporary times with its trademark boldness.
Where And When To Watch?
New episodes are premiered on Wednesdays at 10 PM ET on Comedy Central. Subscribers of Paramount Plus will be able to watch the episode the next Thursday. This plan is a continuation of the streaming agreement with Paramount that cost it 1.5 billion dollars earlier this year.
