FBI Season 8 Faces Major Cast Change
The eighth season of the FBI series aired on October 13, 2025, and it introduced some shocking developments to the CBS procedural drama. The series has lost three key cast members and a new actor has joined the team.
Actress Katherine Renee Kane playing Special Agent Tiffany Wallace has left Season 7. She informed Deadline that it was time to get into new creative things. The departure of Kane started a major change in the casting of the Dick Wolf-created series.

A short appearance by Lisette Olivera as Syd Ortiz lasted only a couple of episodes. The actress was introduced as a new partner of Scola but didn’t continue. Some sources claim the character was too young for the role, but that was not about her acting.
The most heartwarming departure was during the premiere of Season 8. The character from Emily Alabi, Dani Rhodes, was killed in a rescue operation on Port Turner Island. Dani was shot in an ambush and fell because of a hidden abdominal wound. On a stretcher, her body was draped and the crew grieved the loss.
New Face Joins the Team
The new FBI agent is played by Juliana Aidén Martinez, a well-known actor from Law & Order: SVU. She will be collaborating with Scola in the future. Mike Weiss, the showrunner is promising some exciting changes but has not disclosed the character details yet.
Who’s Returning?
Good news for fans is that the core team has not been changed. Missy Peregrym appears as Maggie Bell, Zeeko Zaki as OA Zidan, Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine and John Boyd as Stuart Scola. Alana De La Garza as Isobel Castille makes it through the Season 7 cliffhanger and recovers in the hospital.
FBI Season 8 also shifts to Monday nights at 9/8c, rather than Tuesdays. CBS had a three-year renewal, which ensured the series continued to Season 9.
