Produced by the creative team of Zack Hadel and Michael Cusack, this Adult Swim treasure-trove follows the adventures of everyday hero Pim, and his miserable friend Charlie, at the Smiling Friends Inc. agency. Their job is to make miserable folks laugh. Looks simple, right? Not in this realm of psychedelic nonsense.

In Silly Samuel we have a rather dynamic duo with a client who is essentially the poster boy for ‘everyone hates this guy’. Fancy a stupid, ugly, queer-looking fellow called Silly Samuel no one can stand. Pim dives in with his characteristic cheer, and pulls Charlie to get along with him. But this is the punch line, as they continue to tussle over Samuel’s mess, a hilarious B-plot joins back at the office as the boss and Allan experience a nightmare of a building inspection.
One fan on X referred to it as “okay, but the B-plot mogs the A-plot hard”. Video clips of Samuel’s antics are filling timelines, which makes it clear that this episode will have that signature blend of raw humor and insidious emotions.
