In case you binged Marvel Zombies Season 1 last night, the chances are that you’re still reeling. This four-episode animated gem premiered on Disney+ on September 24, 2025, making the zombie tease into a zombie apocalypse. Such heroes as Wanda Maximoff (voiced by Elizabeth Olsen) and Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) are infected by a Quantum Realm plague that leaves the survivors. Which includes Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to fight undead icons in a post-apocalypse world. Short and brutal actions are intertwined with heartbreaking betrayals It is prime R-rated crunch at its best: blood, bowels, and real emotion.
Such a brutal cliffhanger, social media was on fire. One of the fans raved about it on X saying “10/10 best Marvel animated show! I NEED Season 2.”. It was like The Walking Dead but with superpowers. One of them says, “Scarlet Witch was terrifying- a hard hitting emotional blow.” The demand is so high and it is trending globally after a few hours of release.

We’re ready.” Marvel Zombies Season 2 plans are underway and they will depend on the viewership numbers. We expect the returning voices of David Harbour, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kamala Khan, portrayed by Iman Vellani, and Riri Williams, portrayed by Dominique Thorne, cutting through the crowd and become the blade of Blade (Todd Williams).

Plot further explores the multiverse of the zombie chaos, perhaps cross-referring with live-action MCU twists. Under the direction of Bryan Andrews and the script by Zeb Wells, this animated undead survival horror may redefine animated Marvel.
