The 28 Years Later Cast is in a power-packed thriller with a dream team that will terrify you. The storyline is that the rage virus is still being felt after almost thirty years. Imagine now that Jodie Comer is running away from infected hordes along with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The wait is finally over.
It has been said that zombies never die, but is that really true? Particularly not in the gritty world created by Danny Boyle. Jump to 2025 and 28 Years Later explodes onto the screen continuing the bloody thread of the 2002 cult movie. It is a deep exploration of a post-apocalyptic nightmare, in which the rage virus continues to transform humans into monsters. And the cast? Oh, it will be a lineup that will have fans screaming – excited and terrified.

Jodie Comer (as Isla, a fierce mum with a dark illness who protects her family) is at the centre of all this Killing Eve intensity. She partners with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who immediately follows Kraven the Hunter as Jamie the caring father dragging his child through the ruins of Britain. Their onscreen chemistry is simply awesome. A tense family retreats through collapsing cities and snarling infects. It is crude, it is natural and it has that Boyle touch to make it entertaining.

Next comes Ralph Fiennes, who was put in Dr. Kelson’s mysterious shoes. Is he a savior or sinister? The English Patient star adds seriousness to this horror sequel and it suggests some of the experiments that are twisted in a world that has gone mad. Jack O’Connell (Skins alum) is joined as a rough survivor, and it is the young Rocco Haynes who is shines as Young Jimmy, the naive boy in the middle of the mayhem. Don’t sleep on Alfie Williams as Spike, the intelligent 12-year-old son, or Haley Flaherty as his protective aunty. Fresh new faces like Chi Lewis-Parry and Edvin Ryding will join the zombie movie frenzy.
This is not a typical undead romp, and penned by Alex Garland, the Ex Machina genius. It is an adrenaline rush of a journey of surviving, family and what is left of humanity 28 years after the outbreak. The filming was done successfully with rumors of high action sequences and with a June release buzz, critics are already screaming of visceral thrills.
