The first trailer for the Anaconda reboot has slithered onto screens in a surprise-that has got Hollywood buzzing, starring none other than Paul Rudd and Jack Black. It was dropped by Sony Pictures only yesterday, and it is not a typical horror film. No, it’s going to be a wild, meta-comedy in which the two of them are played as best friends who are obsessed with recreating the 1997 cult movie.
Doug, who is played by the highly energetic Jack Black and is Griff, Rudd’s charming everyman, have always dreamed of directing their own Anaconda. However, once they get the opportunity to shoot in the Amazon rainforest, everything goes out of control. And that tagline, I like big snakes and I cannot lie, is a naughty allusion to the rap song that had us all shaking in the ’90s.
The trailer previews of a film full of nail-biting action and one that will make you laugh out loud. Dougs by Black improvises and avoids giant Pythons and Griff by Rudd attempts to keep the production from eating itself alive. Along with them are Thandiwe Newton as a no-nonsense producer and Steve Zahn with his witty flair. Directed by the wink of the creators behind The Disaster Artist, this reinterpretation of the Jennifer Lopez-Ice Cube original made a reverse of terror into a terrific laugh (don’t miss out Jennifer Lopez Hottest Bikini Pictures) .
It is even being lost by fans online. “Paul Rudd fighting snakes? Sign me up!” one Twitter user raved. It will be expected to be released during the Christmas holidays in 2025. Will it make it squeeze box-office gold? Sources say that.
