Under the direction of Kitao Sakurai, the reboot of the legendary Capcom video game series will be released in cinemas on October 16, 2026, and it is already causing a stir on the internet. Why? Andrew Koji portrays the stoic martial artist Ryu, in the film and we all love him. Known for his power-action and his hard-core energy, Koji, who has done Warrior and Bullet Train, is a perfect fit for this role Noah Centineo, the heartthrob of To All the Boys I Loved Before, enters into the flaming red gi of Ken Masters. Next there is Callina Liang portraying Chun Li, the ruthless Interpol agent. Recent appearances in Presence and Bad Genius indicate that Liang is ready to kick butt.
Actor Jason Momoa plays Blanka, the electrifying green monster. Just imagine the Aquaman actor going feral! David Dastmalchian stars as the villainous M. Bison, and WWE star Roman Reigns stars as Akuma. Rapper 50 Cent as Balrog? He is training to become a mean boxer. It also stars Cody Rhodes as Guile, Orville Peck as Vega and Hirooki Goto as E. The story takes place in 1993, where Ryu and Ken are estranged fighters recruited by Chun-Li to take part in the World Warrior Tournament. Yet there is a dark conspiracy at work and they have to confront their pasts and each other. They are currently filming it in Australia and it is being shot in IMAX.
